Former WWE star Gail Kim says former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles returning to TNA Wrestling would be “dream come true.”
In May, WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling started a working relationship where stars from each promotion appeared for the opposite company.
Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry have appeared on WWE NXT TV on several occasions, while stars like Charlie Dempsey, Wes Lee and Sol Ruca have made a name for themselves on TNA IMPACT.
One WWE star who many fans consider one of the greatest TNA World Champions in the history of the company is AJ Styles.
During a virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest, TNA Wrestling producer Gail Kim expressed that it would be a “dream come true” for AJ Styles to return to the promotion. She said:
“That would be, honestly, a dream come true (for A.J. Styles to return to TNA) and it doesn’t even sound like an impossible thing because we do have a relationship right now so, you know what? I think it would only be fitting if he got to do something…”
“I hope that he does something because he’s just such a special part of TNA’s history. Like, literally, was the face of TNA for so long and we all still love him and put him on a pedestal and just adore him.”
Styles recently made his return to WWE television on the October 4 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
