Former WWE star Jeff Hardy has shared his opinion that he’d have been bigger than John Cena if he’d made different lifestyle choices.
Hardy’s history with addiction has been well documented, but the TNA Wrestling star has worked hard to rehabilitate himself.
In a recent interview with WFAA, a clip of which can be seen below this news story, Hardy was asked if he thought he’d still be wrestling after thirty years.
Hardy reflected on the question, before comparing his history with how he lives life today, saying:
“I don’t know, probably….the way I was living life in my 20s and 30s… if I was living life the way I’m living life now, oh my gosh, there’s no telling. I would probably be bigger than John Cena, today.
“I was born with such a gift to be a pro wrestler. It just felt so natural, like I was totally created to do this thing.
“The cool thing about that is I’m still here and still have life. I feel good.
“I don’t put a number on it. I’ll pretty much wrestle until I can’t wrestle anymore.”
The Hardys recently signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling with their one-year deal coming into effect in November 2024.
Following his AEW departure, Jeff Hardy opened up about plans to “rebuild” and reconnect with the fans.
