Triple H and Shawn Michaels have commented on the recently announced multi-year partnership between WWE & TNA Wrestling.
As announced via a press release today (January 16), WWE and TNA have officially partnered for several years to come, with stars from NXT and TNA set to cross-over on weekly TV, WWE Premium Live Events and TNA Pay-Per-Views.
Upon the news being announced, ESPN’s Mike Coppinger spoke with WWE senior vice president of talent development creative Shawn Michaels, who said:
“We look forward to growing and evolving our partnership with TNA Wrestling and its outstanding group of athletes by creating new opportunities to further the development of our talent and to elevate the viewer experience at home.”
Michaels commented further on the news via Twitter, calling it an “unprecedented partnership”:

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H would also comment on the “massive news” of the WWE/TNA partnership, writing on Twitter:

This valuable partnership will help prepare both companies for the next generation of this industry.
The announcement follows a year of collaboration between TNA and NXT specifically, with stars such as Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace crossing over for big matches on WWE PLEs in 2024.
Most recently TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich appeared in the crowd at the January 14 edition of WWE NXT, before later teasing a future match with Cora Jade.
