A WWE star made a surprise appearance during TNA Wrestling’s live iMPACT episode on Thursday, January 23.
During TNA Genesis on Sunday, January 19, WWE NXT star Cora Jade crossed the line to TNA to confront Knockout’s Champion Masha Slamovich following her successful title defence over Rosemary.
Following TNA Genesis Cora Jade appeared on Busted Open Radio and made her intention to challenge Slamovich for her championship abundantly clear, with the next stage of that plan taking place on this week’s iMPACT live taping.
Appearing during Slamovich’s trios match with Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) against Rosemary & House of Elegance (Ash by Elegance & Heather by Elegance), Jade made her entrance, delivering an envelope to Slamovich as she stood on the apron.
Upon opening the envelope Slamovich was greeted with a picture of herself with a big red X over her, sending a message regarding her Knockout’s Championship intentions.
As can be seen in the footage down below, the distraction proved costly as Slamovich’s team lost the match directly afterwards.
No official match announcement has been made between Jade and Slamovich at this time but we will provide further update if/when this comes.
