The length of the official multi-year partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling announced in January 2025 has been revealed.
Following a working relationship throughout 2024, an official multi-year deal was announced on January 16, 2025.
The arrangement was expected to create “unprecedented crossover opportunities within WWE and TNA programming for NXT Superstars and TNA Wrestling Stars.”
While this official partnership has always been described as ‘multi-year’, JDC – who has reportedly been working as a TNA Wrestling backstage producer recently – has revealed the exact length of the new deal.
During a recent appearance on the For The Love Of Wrestling convention, the former Fandango noted that WWE and TNA Wrestling agreed to a three-year deal.
According to JDC, the arrangement between WWE and TNA Wrestling will take us to at least 2028. He said:
“TNA has a working agreement, a three-year deal with NXT and WWE.”
Having been released by WWE in 2021, JDC reflected on his recent return to the company which saw him confront NXT’s Lexis King, highlights of which can be seen below this news story.
The former Fandango would reflect on stepping back into a WWE ring again having previously been with the company for more than fifteen years, stating:
“Being out of WWE for four years, to go back, and I was with the company for 15 years.
“Good to see everybody. WWE, you see people everyday. It’s a routine, it’s kind of like Groundhog Day.
“Then you leave that environment, come back, and it feels like everything’s just kind of the same where you left it. The machine just keeps rolling on.”
On the February 20, 2025 episode of iMPACT, NXT Champion Oba Femi made his presence felt, having confronted X-Division Champion Moose on this week’s episode of NXT.
Elsewhere on the show, NXT’s Cora Jade appeared and ambushed TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, following their recent interactions across shows and social media.
Jade is set for a match against Slamovich for the Knockouts Championship at TNA Sacrifice on March 14, 2025.
