Matt and Jeff Hardy dropped into the WWE Performance Center recently, bumping into former AEW star Ethan Page during the visit.
With the March 4, 2025 episode of NXT seeing The Hardys address the fans a week after their defeat of No Quarter Catch Crew, Jeff would refer to the last two weeks as a surreal experience with Matt saying that they can both feel the love from the fans.
There wasn’t quite the same level of love, however, when The Hardys dropped into the WWE Performance Center, as can be seen in the video below this news story.
The Hardys dropped into the WWE PC for the first time recently, with Matt noting:
“What an incredible, impressive facility. I love it so much.”

Matt would then bump into Ethan Page, who was initially distracted by something on his phone, with the TNA World Tag Team Champion initially greeting his former AEW teammate enthusiastically, saying:
“Ethan. Good to see you. Hey, man, I just want to say that I’m really happy for all your success. You deserve it.”
Having been seemingly a bit reluctant to shake Matt’s offered hand, the WWE NXT star would say he appreciates the words before shaking hands with Jeff and stating:
“I hope you boys are enjoying the PC and your visit to NXT.”
With Matt confirming that he was, indeed, enjoying his visit, the pair would part ways until the conversation turned frosty with Hardy calling out Page over his use of a familiar finishing move, saying:
“Ethan. Actually, by the way. I wanted to mention your new finish. It’s so original. So creative.”
The finish in question is the Twist of Fate, which Hardy endorsed back in December 2024 after witnessing Page use it on Tony D’Angelo.
Page would take in Hardy’s words for barely a moment, before thanking both men and issuing something of a warning of what else he might do, saying:
“I wanted to mention something to you guys, too. I’m just going to take a wild guess and say that it’s probably not the last thing I take from you guys.”

The thinly veiled threat didn’t surprise Matt as he noted that Page is called “All Ego”, although he did say that the WWE NXT star doesn’t do it as well as The Hardys.
Matt Hardy was previously a member of The Firm in AEW, with Page having been instrumental in securing the star’s contract for the Stokely Hathaway-led faction.
Page heads to NXT Roadblock on March 11, facing Je’Von Evans in a New York City Street Fight.
Elsewhere on the upcoming show, The Hardys defend teh TNA World Tag Team Championship against Fraxiom.
