Following her NXT Battleground appearance, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace wants to see a WWE and TNA “Worlds Collide” show.
At NXT Battleground 2024, Roxanne Perez defeated Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
During the match, TNA Wrestling star Ash By Elegance made a surprise appearance and tried to get involved in the bout.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Jordynne Grace discussed her appearances on WWE programming and title match at NXT Battleground. On wanting to see a WWE vs. TNA Worlds Collide show, Jordynne said:
“My pie-in-the-sky dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view. That’s something everybody–wrestlers and fans–would want to see.”
Grace is set to defend her TNA Knockouts Championship in an open challenge this Friday, June 14 at TNA Against All Odds. Many fans and critics believe the challenge will be accepted by a WWE NXT star.
On the possibility of a rematch with Roxanne Perez or facing another WWE star like Natalya facing her at Against All Odds, Grace said:
“I’d wrestle her (Perez) 10 more times if I could,”
“I have a bone to pick with Tatum, too, and she can definitely come to this open challenge on Friday. Whether it’s WWE or AAA or Stardom or MLW, anybody is welcome in TNA.”
It was announced that there will be a 25-man battle royal to determine the number one contender for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship on the June 18 edition of WWE NXT. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes teased that there will be stars from different locker rooms involved.
WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from this Friday’s TNA Against All Odds when they become available.
