A WWE star made their TNA Wrestling debut on tonight’s episode of iMPACT (March 27), contesting for a top championship.
After attacking Masha Slamovich on last week’s taping (March 21), WWE NXT star Jacy Jayne made her in-ring debut against the reigning Knockout’s Champion on tonight’s show.
Slamovich entered the match following a big title defence over Jayne’s NXT colleague Cora Jade at TNA Sacrifice on March 14, and much like the result of that match the Russian Dynamite came out on top once again.
Despite taking some of Jayne’s best offence, including a big PK kick to the face, it was Slamovich who picked up the win, delivering the Snow Plow to Jayne for the three count.
Slamovich’s celebration was short-lived however, as Tessa Blanchard once again made her presence felt and attacked the champion from behind.
Thankfully for Masha, Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee would make the save, driving Blanchard away from the ring.
Blanchard has yet to taste defeat since returning to TNA in December 2024, picking up wins against now WWE star Jordynne Grace and Lei Ying Lee.
Elsewhere on iMPACT, Jayne’s former Fatal Attraction stablemate Gigi Dolin was in action alongside her new tag team partner Tatum Paxley, with the pair facing reigning Knockout’s Tag Team Champions Ash and Heather By Elegance.
Much like Jayne however, Dolin and Paxley tasted defeat, in a match that would have seen them earn a shot at Ash and Heather should they have won.
