TNA Wrestling introduced a brand new championship at the company’s TV tapings in St. Joseph, MO.
With a month to go until TNA Rebellion on Sunday, April 27, a pair of TV tapings were held, filming content for future episodes of iMPACT and Xplosion.
As previously reported, the first taping held on Friday, March 28 saw the return of a WWE star to the company, making his first appearance since 2021 and setting up a big pay-per-view TNA World Title match against Joe Hendry.
That wasn’t the only big championship news to come from the tapings however, as at the following night’s show (March 29) a brand new title was announced, with a tournament being held to crown the first winner at an upcoming event.
As well as that huge announcement, Director of Authority Santino Marella made more headlines by vacating another TNA championship.
