Following the NXT Heatwave premium live event, a spoiler has been revealed on an interesting name set for tonight’s WWE NXT.
After the main event of NXT Heatwave, TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry briefly appeared in a blink-and-you-miss-it clip before the show went off the air.
Hendry was then seen during a commercial for the July 9 edition of WWE NXT that aired during the prior night’s edition of Raw.
Ahead of the episode, Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that TNA’s Joe Hendry is at tonight’s NXT and was at rehearsals.
As of this evening, Hendry is planned to wrestle on the broadcast, possibly in the main event.
It remains to be seen who will face Hendry on the July 9 episode of WWE NXT at the time of this writing.
