Following his appearance on the July 16 edition of WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling’s Zachary Wentz has been training with CM Punk.
On the July 16 episode of NXT, Wes Lee, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz defeated Gallus in a six-man tag team match.
Then, Lee returned to TNA programming on the July 18 IMPACT where he announced that he will team with The Rascalz again to face WWE NXT’s No Quarter Catch Crew this Saturday, July 20 at TNA Wrestling Slammiversary.
On July 19, Zachary Wentz took to social media to post photos of himself training with CM Punk at Ace Steel’s wrestling school in Chicago. He wrote:
Got to train with @CMPunk last night at @acesofsteel School #TheFoundationOfProWrestling
Teenage me would be really really pumped about this.(current me is too)
CM Punk is working himself back from injury after suffering a torn triceps in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble. He has been embroiled in a personal rivalry with Drew McIntyre since then with many fans expecting their match to take place at SummerSlam.
