Following Bound For Glory 2024, TNA Wrestling stars El Hijo del Vikingo and Chris Bey were stretchered at iMPACT tapings in Detroit, MI.
TNA Bound For Glory 2024 saw both Masha Slamovich and The Hardys become new champions, while Joe Hendry came up short against Nic Nemeth thanks to an appearance from JBL.
Coming off the heels of their biggest show of the year, TNA Wrestling held their latest IMPACT TV tapings in Detroit.
After losing to Speedball Mike Bailey for the X-Division Championship, El Hijo del Vikingo faced Trent Seven and unfortunately suffered an apparent leg injury on a dive to the outside.
The match was stopped and Vikingo was stretchered out from ringside, according to fans in attendance (see below). This follows Vikingo just recently returning from a torn meniscus and ruptured ligament injury.
Meanwhile, former TNA World Tag Team Champion Chris Bey was also taken off on a stretcher following the ABC’s match against The Hardys during the IMPACT tapings.
According to a fan in attendance (see below), it looked as if Bey was knocked out cold during the bout.
WrestleTalk would like to wish both El Hijo del Vikingo and Chris Bey a quick and healthy recovery.
We will provide further updates on both TNA Wrestling stars when they become available.
At the TNA Impact tapings, and El Hijo del Vikingo appears to have been injured.
He was wrestling Trent Seven and did a Corkscrew Backflip off the top rope to the outside and the referee held up the X sign immediately.
He was stretchered out, prayers out to Vikingo.
