Following NXT Battleground, TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry has discussed wanting to work with WWE’s The New Day.
At NXT Battleground 2024, Roxanne Perez defeated TNA’s Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
Days after the TNA Knockouts Champion made her debut on the NXT brand, The New Day’s Xavier Woods tweeted out his desire to participate in the crossover with TNA.
Woods mentioned that he wants to win the TNA World Tag Team Championships and work with TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry.
Speaking with Gabby LaSpisa, Joe Hendry discussed wanting to work with The New Day as long as he is doing things the right way. He said:
“I would love to do something with the New Day. I’ve met Xavier Woods once before, great guy.”
“We had a very brief conversation recently, an enthusiastic conversation about maybe collaborating or something.”
“Again, I’ve got to do things the right way. There’s intellectual property in place, I don’t want to just poop something out there and infringe on that. I want to make sure that what we’re doing, we’re being professional.”
“We can have fun and push the boundaries a little bit, there’s some mentions here and maybe I can post a few things and all that, but when you’re actually releasing a song or something like that, I gotta make sure I’m doing things the right way.”
Joe Hendry is scheduled to face Frankie Kazarian with Ace Steel in his corner at TNA Against All Odds.
