After he made an appearance at TNA Against All Odds, there has been an update on Jeff Hardy’s future after departing AEW.
Hardy made his presence known at the end of the event, helping Matt Hardy, Joe Hendry and the Nemeth brothers fight off The System.
According to a report from Fightful Select, both Matt and Jeff Hardy remain free agents and are working in TNA Wrestling without contracts.
While many people in TNA were under the general assumption that Jeff Hardy would be joining the locker room, there was no official announcement to talent as such in advance.
While Hardy’s AEW deal expired at midnight of that day, Fightful was told that “the wheels were already in motion earlier that week,” for Hardy to be in attendance.
According to sources within TNA, Matt Hardy originally agreed to appear ‘short term’ however there seem to have been dates and plans already added.
Those plans are said to include a potential official in-ring return for the Queen of the Hardy compound, Reby Hardy.
While Reby regularly wrestled in the past, she has not had an official match since 2016 in TNA Wrestling.
