There was a WWE name backstage at TNA Wrestling Against All Odds in addition to the NXT star who challenged for a championship.
On Friday, June 14 TNA Wrestling held their big event Against All Odds which featured an appearance by Jeff Hardy to close the show.
According to a report from Fightful Select, there was an interesting backstage crossover as the ‘prohibited portal’ continues between TNA Wrestling and WWE.
Per the report, in addition to Tatum Paxley at Friday’s TNA Wrestling event Against All Odds to take on Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts Championship, there was another WWE name in the building.
NXT writer Johnny Russo was backstage at TNA Against All Odds per the report.
With recent crossover between TNA and NXT including Jordynne Grace challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground, Paxley’s match in TNA Wrestling was also notable.
Tatum Paxley was ultimately unsuccessful in her debut TNA effort, but her outing was widely praised.
