TNA Wrestling star Eric Young has called Triple H a “genius” amid the company’s blossoming partnership with WWE.
On the June 18 edition of WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling stars Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian appeared in the 25-man battle royal to determine the number one contender for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship at Heatwave.
This followed TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appearing on the NXT brand and challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Speaking with Zack Heydorn of Brass Ring Media, former TNA World Champion Eric Young discussed the WWE and TNA partnership. He said:
“I mean the biggest thing is Hunter is a genius. It’s the reason the WWE is as good as it is right now is because of him. It starts with him and ends with him. It’s obviously not one person.”
“There’s a million super talented people pulling the rope, just like there is at AEW, just like there is in TNA, but the partnership, you know, it’s the tip of the iceberg right now, and there’s no telling where it could end up. I got ideas that I’d like to see happen and wrestling fans are talking about it.”
TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry’s WWE NXT appearance hit massive milestone numbers, which you can read at this link.
